Not sure why, but after one conversion, app no longer opens and keeps crashing at launch before the spash screen. Was a nice interface though and has a LOT of converting options. Sadly only tried one before it broke. @jpdesigntheory

This app doesnt seem to watermark my .MTS to .MP4 conversions. Works as expected. Wont convert *all* formats without a paid upgrade - see the documentation for exceptions.
So far so good. In previous reviews people were saying that there was a watermark on output video. THERES IS NO WATERMARK ANY MORE. I havent had a chance to use this program alot but so far so good.
This application is entirely useless. It doesnt even do the simplest thing possible: Change the container of an AVCHD MPEG2 Transport Stream file (.MTS) to an MP4 format without any transcoding. All I want is to convert the file format without reencoding or transcoding the video OR audio, and this cant do it. Furthermore, the UI is about as un-Mac-like as you can get and entirely confusing. I dont have a better suggestion for you yet - but I know for sure this is not the software you want.
Downloaded the app and tried it out tonight (11.5.14) to see if it does do watermark or not. Glad to report it does not have a watermark on the video. converted two .MTS files to .mp4 without issue. Sound and video both were great after the conversion.
I did a 1 hour video without too much problem, then after that it stopped working and no matter how long my video was it only saw 16 minutes of it, so its totally useless now. I found nothng saying free version is limited in this way so Im certainly not upgrading to $20 paid version to see if that works better.
Didnt work with the .MTS file I got from a client. Didnt even have the Apple Pro Res codec I wanted unless you "upgraded." BOGUS, their has to be a free one out there somewhere...
This App worked like a charm. I dragged the file into the App, clicked the cycle arrow and had my mp4 video. I converted about 20 videos this way. Moreover, the mp4 files take up less than one third of the disk space that the original MTS versions were occupying.
